Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi keeps on impressing fans with his films. But the actor is in big trouble in real life. The reason for this is the stock market. SEBI has clamped down on him and his wife. The Bollywood actor wrote on Twitter
Please do not believe the news going on about me at all. Mary and Maria’s knowledge about stocks is absolutely zero. Like other investors, we also took the advice and invested in Saradha. Like other investors who lost their money, in the same way, I have also lost my hard-earned money. Despite this action is being taken against me. Actor Arshad Warsi broke the silence for the first time on the action of SEBI in Share Pump & Dump. He has presented an explanation for the ban on trading in the stock market against him and his wife Maria Goretti. He wrote on Twitter, I have no knowledge about the stock market and like other investors, my hard-earned money has been lost in one stroke. Market regulator SEBI barred Arshad, Maria, YouTuber Manish Mishra, promoters of Sadhna Broadcast Shreya Gupta, Gaurav Gupta, Saurabh Gupta, Pooja Aggarwal and Varun Media from trading in the securities market. All of them have been held guilty of posting misleading videos to investors and raising or lowering the price of shares of a particular company through YouTube.SEBI had received a complaint that some entities were rigging the prices of shares of Sadha Broadcast Limited and Sharpline Broadcast and increasing their sales. After this SEBI started an investigation and found that some people were increasing the value of shares of these companies illegally. When their price would have gone up a lot, they would have earned huge profits by selling the shares kept with them. In this case, many YouTube videos were working to mislead the investors. Arshad and his wife earn Sebi’s interim order state that Arshad Warsi earned a profit of around Rs 29.43 lakh from the Share Pump and Dump case, while his wife Maria took a profit of Rs 37.56 lakh. However, despite this, Arshad is appealing to people not to believe these reports and claims that he has no knowledge about the stock market.
