there are countless disease caused due to poor conservation of hygiene state of affair .
Patients, children’s and other rambler passing by have to handout with the dreadful smell of this garbage . The more ejection that we put together due to how much junk we create, affect us endless one can spread disease such as asthma , Birth defects , Cancer , Cardiovascular diseases , Childhood cancer, Infectious Diseases , low birth Weights and Pretem Delivery.
Collision on the environment, reckless throwing scrap along the side of the roadways , On the street , In water bodies like river , Ocean , lake etc ..
Several waste will in due Course rots, But not all , And in the procedure it may smell , or give rise to methane gas, Which is combustible and contributes to the greenhouse effect.
PROBLEM CAUSED DUE TO LITTERING
Scouring pollution become apparent when the waste unflustered in dumping sites keep became rotten , Stretch out odour and cause air pollution in the circumambient areas .
Mostly inorganic substances are also classified as litter such as iron article , polyEthene, glass -pieces , food residue , bones of animal are disposed in open area water bodies are also affected by pollution due to waste generated from our household (sewage) and industrial waste.
WHY DO PEOPLE LITTER ?
Individuals who litter out of laziness or carelessness many times seen and believe that someone else like we can say the park employees and the maintenance worker will come on the edge of pick up the litter and dispose of it appropriately others may not have been enlighten on the impact of Littering.
Littering is an environmentally-Safe issue and have need of great observation , Nevertheless individuals are not concerned about the environment they litter the surrounding beside in small deeds or in Big deeds .
The administrative also payout a huge aggregate of banknotes to clear the waste for which the financial management also get affected. Individual need to be conscious of hyperhypersensitive regarding this .
There are some types of littering bad for the environment.
1. LITTER CAUSES POLLUTION
Pollution can leads to water , land , air pollution. As litter decompose it releases chemicals and microparticles which are harmful for our environment. When these chemicals make their ways into soil and water bodies they causes water pollution and land pollution which is harmful for humans and animals . When these litter burned in open air they can release toxic gases like Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide etc. which are very harmful for our respiratory system, health problems and it can be a base for acid rain.
2. LITTER HARMS BIOTIC COMPONENT OF ENVIRONMENT
Littering here and there can harm aquatic and land animals every year. Land animals die each year after consuming the disposed garbage especially plastic. Similarly Marine animals or aquatic animals like dolphin,fish whale,turtle etc. also become entangled in the garbages and die due to drowning.
3. SPREAD OF DISEASE DUE TO LITTERING
The breeding point for organism causing disease called pathogen is discarded litter. Disease can be caused by these organism directly or indirectly. Some diseases like Tuberculosis , Pneumonia, Diarrhoea , Tetanus , whipping , cough etc are spread due to improper waste management .
STEP TO STOP LITTERING FOR THE BETTERMENT OF ENVIRONMENT
- Regulating Proper Law and Order
Regulating strict law against any illegal activities in society is the key to probhit such work of action , as well in the case of illegal dumping and littering there should be a clear and punishable law which would include imprisonment & fines too…
2- Social Campaigns
Campaign’s is one of the efficient method of providing knowledge and awareness between people. small community programs and group should be made to aware people for cleaning their neighbourhood clean and tidy. we can also use social media platform and newsletters to spreading the message widely on other hand putting stop littering sign board near the highways and Street road can boast the idea of awarness.
3- Putting Garbage Bins
putting garbage in colony’s,walking roads and street areas by local authorities and Municipal Corporation can mitigate the cause of lettering.
4- Education
Education is one of the essential part to avoid not only littering but any illegal act which is becoming a crucial problem in society. Every single person should really need to know the drawbacks of littering. we can make people understand that it is very easy to stop lettering and make our environment tidy and healthy.
5- Recycling
Recycling is the one of the efficient method to prevent littering or the effect of littering. There are many useful thing which can be possibly reused other then throwing in the garbage and by recycling these type of material not only us but our environment will also be secured.
CONCLUSION
From the above article it is clear that we should manage our waste properly and should follow 5R’s principal for waste management that is Recycle,Reuse,Reduce,Recover and Refuse to control Littering.
