A MAN JUMPED OUT OF THE AMBULANCE, THINKING AN ORGAN HARVEST GANG HAD PICKED HIM UP, POLICE DETAINED
Gyani Marcelo (26) had traveled to Chennai for a friend’s wedding and was staying at a luxury hotel in Periamet. A 26-year-old American man who had traveled to Chennai to attend a friend’s wedding was detained on Wednesday, January 25, after he jumped out of an ambulance and damaged the vehicle’s back door. Gyani Marcelo, the man, was from Florida in the United States.He was staying at a luxury hotel in Periamet, according to The New Indian Express. According to reports, when he returned to the hotel on Wednesday, he was inebriated, and a hotel employee had to accompany him to his room.
Marcelo arrived at the hotel lobby around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday with blood dripping from his head. According to the police, he slipped inside his room, resulting in the head injury. The hotel summoned an ambulance, and Marco was taken to the Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital.
While the ambulance was crossing the Ripon Buildings, Marco broke the back door, jumped outside, and fled.The police began searching for Marcelo after he arrived at the Allikulam court complex’s bike parking area. The cops discovered him hiding among the bikes. He is currently being treated in a hospital under police protection. According to TNIE, Marcelo believed he was being pursued by an organ harvesting gang in the ambulance and attempted to flee. According to the police, he may be released with a warning
