UGC NET Law Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the UGC NET Law Exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is 33 years, while there is no age limit for the Net Assistant Professor position.

Age Relaxation: Females of all categories receive a 3-year age relaxation, as do candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Transgender categories. Candidates who have served in the Armed Forces are also eligible for a 5-year age relaxation.

Nationality: Candidates must be of Indian origin. Individuals who have acquired Indian citizenship through registration are also eligible.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed a Master’s degree in a specific subject or stream. For JRF and Net Assistant Professor positions, candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% in their post-graduation (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Transgender).

UGC NET Law Exam Pattern

The UGC NET Law Exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Here’s a breakdown of the exam pattern:

Paper I:

Objective: Evaluate the candidate’s skills and eligibility for teaching and research abilities.
