Dr.A.Mohamed Yasir Arafath, MSW,M.Phil,Ph.D,PGDC,PGDHRM
Guest Faculty, Department of Social Work Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, is currently serving as Co-Editor of LRA Journals Having 7 years of teaching and professional field experience in India and abroad, I previously worked as Head-Senior Lecturer at DMI-St. John the Baptist University, Central Africa, Malawi, specializing in Mental Health and Community Development.
Dr.Arafath’s professional journey extends beyond the realm of academia, encompassing invaluable field experiences with prominent non-governmental organizations such as the Sakthi Vidiyal Organization in India. Additionally, He has contributed his expertise as a Mental Health professional in community and hospital settings, and he has also Invented a cognitive therapeutic board game for children’s and adolescent’s mental health. He has been involved in various Community Outreach programs, and he has received the Best Social Work Research and Glory of India award from a Germany-based university also he has published more than 10 research papers in National and International level journals. He has guided more than 30 Master’s Degree Projects and 2 PhD scholars at higher educational Levels. His primary areas of interest encompass School Social Work, Mental Health, Working with children, and the innovative domain of counselling settings.
