TABLES TURNED IN CURING DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY
On April 27, 2023 by Aakriti Shukla
The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute’s researchers have discovered that a slow-down signal to the brain by amino acid and glycine which possibly and with all potential contributes to the slow pacing of anxiety and depression.
The researchers found out that the GPR158 receptor would be very helpful in the process of developing a way faster way of curing all the disorders related to mental health or mood. Though a bit more research work is very much needed in understanding the role importance and function of the receptor mGlyR on the activity of the brain cells.
It was discovered that a mere and not so rarely found amino acid, glycine, are capable enough to provide a signal of slowing down to the cells of the brain contributing a major part in the treatment and curing of some mental diseases and disorders about that it has not been much spoken about or might be rightly said that never was assumed to be such serious topic and these disorders are of like depression, anxiety and even mood disorders in some ration of the population.\

The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation and Technology scientists talked about this and said in a particular journal for the subject science stating very clearly the scope of improvement of the proper knowledge and understanding of the biological causes behind the clinical depression, major depression and might help in fastening up the process of all the tries for formulating the latest and the medications.
The treatment to react in a swifter way for trying to cure or treat very stubborn disorders relating to the moods of an individual stated by Mr Kirill Martemyanov a Ph. D holder in neuroscientist aandcorresponding author.
The old and traditional way of treating major depression is a very slow process indeed it casually take weeks and months to start reacting on the body even if they react also that is the reason why the latest and much useful options are required who is also a member of the Department of Neuroscience at the Jupiter Institute.
On the list of the million diseases ignored in this world, major depression is constantly attempting to shift itself into the list of the diseases and disorders which are under the eyes of the researchers as a lot number of young teenagers are getting into its trap.
He further said that he along with his entire team comprising of postdoctoral researchers and students have dedicated a lot time of theirs to the detailed study and analysis of this very topic.

The aim and agenda they were focussing all this time was not the cause of the disorder but rather the ways and measure to find an effective way of treating this disorder and the only question which was persistent in their brains during all those times was how are the signals being transmitted and received to the brain cells and how do they sense it and that is the reason to understand all the emotions like pain.
Memory behaviour etc. She further describes science as to be one of the very basic yet wonderful things; approximately fifteen years back a protein binder was discovered and it was the reason that eventually grew more interested in that topic and landed up in finding this latest receptor.
Back in 2018 he along with his entire team managed to discover the latest receptor which had active participation in a sort of depression which was generally induced by stress.
A discovery came out in 2021 when their entire team of his was able to solve the mystery of the structure of GPR158 and even assumed them; they found something looking like a compartment-like structure which is not at all found in humans but in bacteria and among the set of twenty amino acids only one was there who was matching with it perfectly and it was not anything other than the glycine.
