On April 12, 2023 by Aakriti Shukla
On March 31, Canadian police discovered two more corpses from Akwesasne, Quebec; the bodies that were found was including that one the missing infant near the United States and Canada borders on Friday, it was all in total the eight victims and the number of families involved were two who were dead this very week in just merely attempting to enter the United States from Canada through boat across the river St. Lawrence.
Shawn Dulude, chief of the Akwesane Mohawk Police Service said that the additional two corpses are being discovered the first one of an infant then a citizen of Canada of descent from Romania and even one female who was an adult was believed to be the one following the nationality of India.

Six bodies were earlier found by the Canadian police on Thursday and they had a firm belief that this sad tragedy might have occurred on a Wednesday night. He satisfies everyone by saying that there are going to be no more dead bodies to be found but on the other hand, they have been looking out for a thirty-year-old missing man named, Casey Oakes and he is the only person who has been yet with the interest for the case as his boat found around the parameters where the rest of the dead bodies were found.
Deputy Chief Mr. Lee-Ann O’Brien earlier this Friday gave a statement saying about the victims found were comprised of two families one from a Romanian native and the other one from an Indian native who was merely trying to get to the U.S. border by illegal means.
There were two children found who were possessing the passports of Canada among the victims as rightly said by the police, those who all were waiting eagerly for the results of a post-mortem and the test of toxicology to determine the cause of death from Montreal.
President of the U.S Mr. Joe Biden and Mr. Justin Trudeau the Prime Minister of Canada last week agreed to prohibit the asylum seekers commencing to Canada from unauthenticated crossings, critics said by criticizing that this would be a possible move by all the refugees and migrants to take this sort of risks and will try to cross illegally.
But the police of Akwesasne the very particular agreement that shut down all the unauthentic border entries which also included Roxham Road in the city of Quebec, would not have been stated here because the families were planning to go to the United States and not Canada.

O’Brien says that this all has nothing to do with the agreement of closing the borders. The previous year only four members of the Indian family were found to be dead in Manitoba a province of Canada while they were attempting to go to the United States.
Reserves of Akwesasne bestride on either side of the river St. Lawrence, one the grasslands in Ontario and the city of Quebec on the Canadian side and New York to quarrel the refugees and migrants of the persons and commodities through the monitor of police with the river that to the entirely for the complete time with the monetary funds from Quebec.

More pupils have been in the terms of this territory to try to enter the United States privately, with approximately eighty blocking recorded from the commencement of the year, and the maximum number of these individuals have been either the Indians or Romanians said the official Dulude. On the night of Wednesday, the weather was also extremely poor, it was very cold and windy and raining and cold which was the most probable cause of their death.
