The game of life depends upon the number of breaths one has. Life is more important than any other thing to humans. Sometimes, such incidents happen which take the lives of millions of people. Similarly, a few days back, an earthquake in the cities of Syria and Turkey had a dangerous effect on the life of the people.
Several people were injured and more than 2300 were killed in the disaster. Rescue teams from different countries are trying to rescue the people from the rubble. With this, teams are successful in rescuing famous football player Christian Atsu from the earthquake rubble. He was buried under the earthquake rubble and found alive on 07th February. Mustafa Ozat, Vice-President of the club Hatayspor told about his well-being and also informed that he was reported missing in the 7.8 magnitude earthquake and got buried under the rubble.

Who is Christian Atsu?
Christian Atsu is an international football player, who plays for the national team of Ghana. He is a 31-year old-winger. He was born on 10 January 1992 in ghana. He is Christian by religion. He often shares verses from the Bible on his social media account. His spouse’s name is Marie-Claire Rupio. He has two sons and a daughter with his marriage. He has taken his education from Feyenoord Football Academy at Gomoa Fetteh, in the Central Region of Ghana.

About his Career
He started his career in the year of 2011. He has joined several clubs for playing football. He joined the first football club named Porto Club in the year of 2017. He has also joined Chelsea Club for the span of five years on a contract basis. He has played for Vitesse, Everton, Bournemouth, Málaga, Newcastle United, Al-Raed, and Hatayspor. He has joined several football clubs on a contract basis for different spans of time in his career. Currently, He is playing for the Hatayspor club of Ghana.
In his International career, He has won his senior cap for the national team of Ghana. He has got different titles for his game, like BBC described him as an “excellent prospect” and he got the title “quick and technically impressive” from ESPN. In his career, he was also in the Ghanaian squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa. He was also selected for the e 2014 FIFA World Cup squad. He played 15 national Cups, 12 league cups and 15 continental Cups in his career with 23 Goals in total. He was the runner-up for the Africa Cup of Nations in the year 2015. His Net Worth salary is 6.46 lakhs EUR per year.

Why in the News?
Currently, Christian Atsu is flashing in the news and social media platforms. A few days back, there was a terrible earthquake in the cities of Syria and Turkey. An earthquake of 7.8 magnitudes was realized in the evening near about 4 p.m. With this earthquake, more than 14000 people were injured and near about 2500 were killed. Several people were buried under buildings and rubble. It was reported that Ghanaian football player Christian Atsu was also missing in the earthquake. He was also buried under the rubble and pulled out injured from the rubble. He was found alive and admitted to the hospital for treatment. His loved ones
are praying for his well-being and speedy recovery.
