TWITTER BOOST ITS VIP USER’S TWEETS.
According to a recent report from Platform, it is informed that Twitter is secretly boosting the tweets of its VIP users.
Why this prejudice among its users? They are being treated as VIPs, already enjoy more than their usual users and now even boost their posts so the regular mass is avoided on social media platforms as well. Where do the common people go?
They are already being neglected in the real world and all the focus is captured by the presence of the Very Important Persons, so the people found a way to express their thoughts as well as grievances of political and social fields on several platforms. Now even this opportunity is taken away from them.
The managing editor of the Platform, Zoe Schiffer, has shared a document which shows a list of at least 35 VIP Twitter users who has their posts and tweets monitored and might be even sponsored for their high visibility.
Schiffer published almost 14 out of 35 names of the VIPs whose tweets are being boosted. The names included are-a prominent YouTuber, Mr Beast, the NBA star, Lebron James, Ben Shapiro, and Alexandria Ocasio.
The list even included Twitter’s own CEO, Elon Musk. The list includes commentators, stars, US politicians and the famed name goes on. It also includes people Elon Musk used to have conversations with such as pro-trump commentators.
The name in the list is even directly included in the political spheres as well. But the engineers of Twitter have assured its users by saying that since the VIPs are famous enough, all posts and tweets shared by them will automatically pop up instantly. They even supported this by further adding that even the accounts of Very important persons go through or bypass the Twitter algorithm which prevents too many posts by its particular user to pop up time by time.
The point to be seen is the list just came out when Twitter was scheduled to remove its legacy blue tick which is from April 1st onwards.
The increased technology has its usage but no wonder it’s being misused to an extent which can become unbearable in the future to come.
Don’t you find it strange when you thought of Elon Musk during a conversation or so and he pops up on your screen as soon as you take your device? It’s just not about Musk but all things, the system is working in a manner that you are taken by your devices as long as it wants.
This topic is said to be even related to the consequences of the Artificial Intelligence race between various chatbots, search engines, and tech companies for the sole purpose of domination.
WHEN DID THIS START? WHAT WAS THE BEGINNING? HOW WAS IT INITIATED?
The process started when Elon Musk realised that his posts were not getting enough views and he, without any doubt, wanted more and more exposure. So, he decided to change the algorithms of Twitter to have more US-based users, rather than any religion or sects which makes it quite obvious that the news and issues of the United States are put more into focus.
The question of the hour is why the managing editor of the platform didn’t release the whole 35 names.
Or are they even providing the service of privacy, classification and secrecy to the VIPs as well?
All the names published, very well are famous enough to be known by the public and the remaining ones are expected to be of a similar nature.
The CEO has played his cards very well by altering the course and algorithms of his recently owned Twitter App. By making the function of the algorithms like boosting certain users’ tweets gives a lot of boons. In the coming days, the FYP (For you page) or feed of the app will show the contents only of its verified blue tick users.
